OCTOPUS Locks is a newly developed system that can easily be installed on most European doors. A handyman (or just someone with a bit of technical skill) can typically install a lock in less than 30 minutes. In many cases, it's not even necessary to replace the lock case, as the handle with built-in electronics can be mounted onto the existing lock case.
No power supply to the door is needed, as the locks are battery-operated and last approximately 12 months. A warning is sent via the included app when the batteries need to be replaced.
You don’t need to find your key every time you leave the house, as the lock can be set to automatically lock when the door closes. That means you don’t have to worry about whether the door is locked when you're at home or if you forgot to lock it when you were the last to leave the house or office. The locks can also be used on doors with three-point locking systems, garage doors, and elevators.
For example, give your children or guests the option to unlock the door with a code – and avoid lost keys and the hassle of handing them out and collecting them again. Likewise, temporary codes can be given to, for example, handymen to grant access.
If you want to access your locks online, you’ll need an internet module that connects to your WiFi. The module is set up via the app and communicates with the locks via Bluetooth, with a range of up to 20 meters. One internet module can connect to multiple locks – all you need is the included USB power adapter.

With the OCTOPUS Lock System, you can:
- Oprette låse-grupper, fx alle værelser, linnedrum, suiter m.m.
- Alle værelsesdøre bliver oprettet automatisk. Du kan derefter tilknytte flere døre, som skal åbnes, når der bliver lavet en booking til et værelse. Fx hoveddør, restaurantdør eller universaldør.
- Oprette alle medarbejdere med tilhørende PIN-koder samt lave nøglekort. Her angiver du, hvilke døre medarbejderen skal have adgang til.
- Se status på alle Internetmoduler (online/offline). Du kan desuden se, hvilke døre, der er tilsluttet.
- Se historik på alle døre. Døråbninger, PIN-koder benyttet, forkerte indtastninger, alarmer, hvis der har været for mange forsøg m.m.
- Se alle døre med mulighed for at:
- Åbne og lukke døre.
- Få dørstatus (åben/lukket).
- Batteristatus: 0-100%.
- Se PIN-koder og nøglekort tilhørende døren.
- Angive passage-tilstand (Åbningstider for bestemte døre: Datoer, dage, tider m.m.)
- Se aktive PIN-koder/nøglekort for alle døre. Der kan søges på gæst, værelse m.m.
- Mulighed for at få tilsendt en mail når en dør åbnes. Kan være smart, hvis du ønsker at overvåge vigtige døre som fx kontoret, en bagdør eller andet.
- Vi kan sende mails til alle gæster, der booker et værelse, som indeholder auto-genererede PIN-koder, der vil lukke gæsten ind af de døre, du har valgt , fx værelset, hoveddøren m.m. Adgangen lukkes igen ved udtjekning.
